Customers can finance their purchase over time by paying in weekly or monthly instalments, with the option to pay via cash or mobile money. Easy Solar is looking for a detailed-oriented, creative and artistically gifted graphic designer, with a meticulous adherence to quality and high visual impact. As our company’s graphic designer, you will be expected to produce new marketing collateral and keep our existing collateral updated. You will be expected to work most closely with the marketing team but may on occasion have interactions with other teams in the organization for specific projects.

As part of a busy team, you will also have good project management skills and a willingness to propose ideas, take initiative, and the ability to follow directions with a positive attitude. This role will also require you to travel upline which will be covered by the business.

Core Focus Areas

• Advertising (flyers, posters, wall art, social media templates/posts, giveaway items e.g. keychains, pens, wristbands etc.)
• Social media creatives
• Website and online channel design (refinement not creation from scratch)
• Exhibition and displays (banners, product display, point of sale branding)
• Sales support materials (handbooks, training manuals, company brochures)
• Company stationery (business cards, contracts, invoices etc.)
• Product packaging (mainly placement of logo and payment information for co-branded items

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, visual art, interior design, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design
• Advanced Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud - particularly in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign. Experience in Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus.
• A strong online portfolio, exhibiting clean visual design sensibilities.

Skills

• Creative and artistically gifted (preferably with an ability to capture content with a minimalist and clean aesthetic, within the brand guidelines given).
• Strong communicator that takes initiative and is proactive and always on the lookout for improvements in their work or existing collateral
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a deadline-driven environment all with high level communication.
• Effective time-management skills and can communicate progress against deadlines
• Extreme attention to detail and acute vision to the most minute elements of the design process
• Understanding trends within the scope of the industry
• Overseeing design changes and improvements throughout the development process
• Does not take criticism personally and can handle rejection
• Video editing skills is an added advantage
