1.) Office Manager - Advisory

Role Summary
- Organising and overseeing the day-to-day operations within the SL office to ensure processes and policies are followed
- Ensure that all suppliers undergo due diligence checks, via the legal and Compliance team.
- Management of supplier contracts for fleet management services, utilities, accommodation etc
- Ensuring team members in-country have the appropriate and in-date visa/work permits.
- Ensure adherence to instituteβs financial management process and policies
- Maintaining the project finance and petty cash tracker and submit timely reports to the Regional Office.
- Maintaining and continuously improving administrative systems, mailing lists and databasesΒ with staff contact details, emergency contact informationΒ etc
- Provide support for TBI staff visiting the country by providing pre-arrival security, logistics, visa and other relevant information.
- Β Ensuring payment requests are sent against the designated payment runs
- Ensure replenishment requests for local accounts are made on time
- Intuitively planning and providing administrative support to SL project team
- Actively participating in relevant activities that support the delivery of the teams workstreams
- Supervising drivers and planning in-country trips.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post as assigned by the Country Director

Role Summary
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for leveraging technology to drive economic growth, improve public service delivery, and promote digital inclusion in Sierra Leone to support the delivery of the Presidentβs Big Five Game Changers.
- Work across relevant sectors in the Tech portfolio including Health-Tech, Ag-Tech, EdTech, Digital ID, and E-Government.
- Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance the digital skills and knowledge of government officials, entrepreneurs, and civil society organizations, ensuring the effective adoption and utilization of technology.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, international organizations, private sector entities, and local communities to foster collaboration and promote knowledge sharing on technology-related initiatives.
- Conduct research, monitor trends, and evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for their application in priority sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, and finance, and provide recommendations for their adoption.
- Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of technology-driven projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and desired outcomes.
- Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of technology interventions, identify challenges, and recommend corrective actions.
- Contribute to the generation and dissemination of knowledge products, including reports, case studies, policy briefs, and best practice guidelines, to share insights and promote learning within the Institute and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to TBIs thought leadership in technology and innovations and share lessons learned across the Institute from Sierra Leone context
Support the Country Director and internal coordination
- Provide technical advice to senior Government counterparts as well as TBI leadership. Ideate, troubleshoot to ensure we are bringing the best of TBI to our work;
- Support the Country Director and the team in delivering the broader Sierra Leone country strategy, reporting on progress, and managing key stakeholders;
- Engage with other parts of TBI in the tech space by proactively collaborating with other TBI projects through knowledge sharing and thought leadership.
- Ensure robust project management processes are in place, including reporting and policy documentation and effective implementation of monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) activities, including data collection and analysis.
