Sierra Minerals Holding is recruiting to fill the position of Fuel Manager.

Location: 1, Vimetco Moyamba District, Southern, Sierra Leone

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing of all aspects of the fuel and petroleum products (i.e. diesel (AGO), marine fuel oil (MFO), petrol, used oil) respectively reception, storage and distribution in all fuel storage facilities of the company (SMHL)
• Ensure there is high degree of integrity of all fuel storage facilities in the company, inform the top management and propose corrective actions
• Ensure periodic maintenance, cleaning and calibration of all fuel storage facilities
• Record all invoices for fuel received and credit notes for shortages
• Monitor the daily and monthly fuel consumption
• Ensure that all delivery documents with the real received quantity (confirmed by signature by fuel station personnel) are sent to the Reception Department in the store for record in the Integrated application/software SAP
• Present a daily and monthly fuel consumption report to the head of department and management, highlighting the fuel consumption in excess or fuel theft (suspicions, attempts, incidents)
• Ensure the sourcing of the fuel according to the company needs, based on the operation plan of the company (SMHL) or departments’ requests (ex. Nitti port for petrol, Dryer for MFO and used oil)
• Ensure that all records in dedicated fuel application/software (SPARTAN) are correct
• Ensure the safety stock of fuel for minimum 2 days operations
