Job Title: Administrative OfficerΒ

Duty Location: CRS Office in Freetown, must be willing to travel up to 10%.Β
Job Summary:Β Β
You will coordinate the provision of responsive, effective, and efficient administrative services in support ofΒ Β the Catholic Relief Servicesβ (CRS) mission to serve the poor and vulnerable. You will helpΒ ensure stewardshipΒ of resources and a high-quality service approach are integrated intoΒ administrative systems, policies, andΒ Β procedures.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:Β
- Oversee the efficient use and management of CP assets. Ensure fully compliant asset managementΒ systems. Organize asset inventory monitoring, control, and reporting.
- Manage the provision of travel and logistics support and services to staff and visitors.Β Β β’Β Coordinate event planning activities, including delegation visits, trainings, and workshops.Β β’Β Engage withΒ relevant external stakeholders (government officials, landlords, service providers, etc.)
on assigned administrative matters and help ensure required authorizations and documents are upΒ to date.
- Prepare transactional documents in support of general operations processes and supportΒ coordination of transaction processing (e.g. payment requests, travel authorizations, travelΒ advances, visas, etc.).
- Coordinate and report on activities and required resources to ensure cost efficient and qualityΒ service delivery from administrative support functions.
- Help ensure administrative systems, processes, and policies are in line with agency standards andΒ donor and local law regulations.
- Help identify safety issues and ensuring a safe and sound work environment.
Basic QualificationsΒ
- Bachelorβs Degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in administrative support functions, with increasingΒ responsibility. Experience with a local or international NGO a plus.
Required LanguagesΒ β English and Krio
TravelΒ β include percentage of required travel, if applicable. Could be stated as Must be willing and able toΒ travel up to 10 %.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesΒ
- Good planning, organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service orientation with very good communication and interpersonal skillsΒ Β β’Β Ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred QualificationsΒ
- Additional education may substitute for some experience.
- Experience and proficient skills in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) andΒ information management systems.

Job Title: Community Health System Coordinator- TB/HIVΒ

Job Summary:Β Β
TheΒ Community Health System Coordinator- TB/HIVΒ will provide project management and technicalΒ guidance and oversight to the planning, and delivery of global fund community case-finding activities. Coordination will include working with SR and PHUs to organize and conduct outreach activities, contactΒ tracking, and Index testing.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:Β Β
- Coordinate community work to increase case findings in both HIV and TB
- Assist in providing technical leadership and technical support related to case identification in TB andΒ HIV strategies and approaches.
- Coordinate the design and implementation of Community HIV and TB case identification, includingΒ contact tracing and Index testing in field-level projects and programs
- Provide technical assistance in HIV/AIDS clinical management and PMTCT capacity building to PHUΒ staff, Community Health Workers, and field staff.
- Represent CRS in TB and HIV Technical working groups with the MoHS.
- Provide oversight and supervisory roles to the appropriate technical staff Develop guidelines, tools, and recommendations related to the implementation.
- Contribute to the development of lessons learned from project implementation and apply theseΒ lessons to modify existing and improve the design of new interventions.
- Remain informed on current programs in the field of clinical management of HIV/AIDS and TB-related development field by reviewing current literature and staying alert to any implication of suchΒ experience in the interventions supported by global funds.
- Regularly, develop quality reports and presentations for internal and external sharing.
- Β Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:Β Β
Education and ExperienceΒ Β
- Degree or diploma in Medicine, or any health-related undergraduate degree. A Masterβs degree inΒ Public Health, Epidemiology, Behavior, Medicine or a related sector is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated application of technical principles and concepts in health programming. GeneralΒ knowledge of other related disciplines to ensure a proper cross-sectoral approach.
- Experience with program monitoring and evaluation, including applying data collection tools andΒ methodologies, data analysis, and data presentation.
- Experience and skills in networking and relations with donors, peer organizations, and faith-based andΒ civil society partners. Understanding of partnership principles.
- Proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications,Β information and budget management systems, and knowledge-sharing networks.
Required LanguagesΒ βΒ English Language (Krio is optional).Β
TravelΒ β Must be willing to travel up to 50%

Preferred QualificationsΒ
- Knowledge of CRS Partnership strategy and Partner management experience is an advantage.Β β’Β Prior experience working in the West African region, is preferred.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Exceptional knowledge and experience in budget management and project management.Β β’Β Ability in Microsoft Office Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
