Rising Academy Network (RAN) is recruiting for a Project Lead in Sierra Leone.

Rising Academy Network & EducAid will be supporting Freetown City Council to achieve data driven, technology-enabled school monitoring and mentorship. Our approach aims to build capacity supported by a clear framework of Minimum Standards to drive improved school performance.
Throughout the program, we will work with key stakeholders to ensure collaboration on the deliverables, ensuring comprehensive handover at the end of the project.
Trainings for School Principals in leadership and management will be done to support them drive school improvement. School leaders will be trained on how to meet and uphold key professional standards and expectations. They will be monitored effectively and held accountable to professional standards and expectations through low or high frequency visits.
At the end of this project, we expect to see Schools become safer, have more effective learning environments that motivate students to learn and ultimately improve their learning outcomes.
We are seeking to recruit:
Responsibility title: Project Lead
Reporting to: EducAid/Rising/FCC steering committee
Responsible for: Supervising and supporting the cluster mentors in their support to the partner school heads
Works with: The Education Team including cluster mentors, Rising & FCC Project Leads
Location: Western Urban
Equipment needed: Phone, laptop
Responsibility Type: Full time for an initial 18 months (February 2021 – July 2022)
Hours: 40 hours per week, additional hours as required
Job Purpose
To support and coordinate the cluster mentors
Reporting Channels
As a project lead, your line manager is the QEP Coordinator
Key Responsibility Areas
- Weekly meetings with all CMs
- Weekly meetings with other project leads
- Weekly update reports to EducAid/Rising/FCC steering committee
- Liaison with TSC and MBSSE as necessary
- Ensure appropriate data is collected
