World Vision International Sierra Leone (WVISL) has been operational since 1996 assisting communities with various interventions in health, education, child protection, water & sanitation and livelihoods.
Applications are requested from suitably qualified Sierra Leoneans to fill the position of School Coach/Facilitator in Kono District (Open to Sierra Leonean Nationals Only)
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The School Coaches/Facilitators will support school-based program management functions and program activities. He or she will support the creation, implementation and adoption of processes that enable knowledge capture, real-time collaboration, problem-solving and organizational learning across the program. The School Coaches/Facilitators will work with the Teaching staff at all levels both in the Cluster Area Programme offices and at the field level. Positions require flexibility and willingness to assume varied duties and projects with an emphasis on project activities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides technical support for deployed infrastructure ensuring educational activities are ongoing and not interrupted. First point of contact for support and works with vendor and partner to ensure all software and hardware are in working order
- Collaborates with project officer to identify training needs and conducts required training on the use of the platform for all designated users
- Provides periodic reports to Project Manager on hardware and software status.
- Ensures that all needed replacements, installations and upgrades are done on time and liaises with Profuturo on all technical issues.
- Maintains IT inventory management for all IT equipment and/or software following project policies.
- Ensures devices are safely charged for optimal use and monitors power system to ensure operational effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
- Educational level required: An IT related Certification or Diploma, N+ or A* in Computer Networking and Administration.
- Experience: 3 years in program/project Management and Implementation.
- Other: Working experience in community development is preferred.
- An IT Customer Support Role would be an advantage.
Other Competencies/Attributes:
• Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
• Attend and participate/lead in daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Must be digitally literate with above-average knowledge in the use of computer systems and applications.
