1.) Account Officers - Marketing Role
Position: Account Officers - Marketing Role Direct Report: Relationship Manager
Job Functions:
- Monitor and market the development of potential and existing business relationships within the country.
- Ensure the provision of excellent financial products and services that add value to the bank while securing the bank's assets.
Regular/Routine Tasks:
- Implement bank strategies and execute marketing programs for targeted industry segments.
- Handle foreign exchange transactions and negotiate rates within bank-set limits.
- Discuss credit requirements with customers and develop financing packages to meet their needs.
- Maintain good public relations and coordinate the Unit for efficient service delivery.
- Analyze industry segments for potential opportunities and make client calls with Unit and Group Heads to ensure marketing quality.
- Recommend financial service proposals within approved limits and ensure customer requests are executed by liaising with other bank units.
Periodic Tasks:
- Submit weekly or periodic reports on unit activities to the Unit Head, including recommendations for any necessary corrective actions.
- Prepare Monthly Profitability Reports and review performance metrics with the Unit Head.
- Attend various meetings as required.
Special and Other Duties:
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Relationship Manager.
Specifications:
- Qualifications: University degree (First or Second-Class Lower) from a reputable institution with at least 5 credits in WASSCE subjects, including English and Mathematics.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a financial institution.
- Skills: Customer-centric, strong interpersonal, analytical, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficient in report writing and presentation.

Position: Relationship Managers β Marketing Role Direct Report: The Group Head
Job Functions:
- Supervise and enhance business relationships with customers in the country.
- Implement Group strategies, oversee marketing to prospective customers, and grow the institution's deposit liabilities.
- Evaluate credit worthiness, discuss customer requirements, and structure credit facilities.
- Liaise within the institution for financial transactions and ensure compliance with credit agreements.
- Monitor group performance and develop marketing programs for targeted industry segments.
- Maintain public relations and identify opportunities for new financial products.
Periodic Tasks:
- Submit reports on activities, prepare profitability reports, and oversee the performance of Account Officers.
- Hold meetings to review group activities.
Special Duties:
- Contribute to strategic planning, collaborate on new products to maintain competitive edge, and handle tasks assigned by the Group Head.
Specifications:
- Qualifications: University degree with at least 5 credits in WASSCE subjects including English and Mathematics, and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a financial institution with supervisory experience.
- Skills: Customer-centric, strong interpersonal, analytical, communication, leadership, and report writing skills.
