1.) Civil Engineer

Position: Site Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Civil Engineer to oversee and coordinate multiple construction project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and in line with established quality, safety and operational standards. This role requires strong planning, leadership and problem-solving abilities, with responsibility for managing project teams, subcontractors and resources across various sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, budgets, scopes of work and resource plans.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC, Health & Safety and project control procedures.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities, including materials, subcontractors and site documentation.
• Produce progress reports, two-week look-ahead schedules and procurement plans.
• Identify and resolve construction issues through RFIs, site queries and proactive coordination.
• Provide accurate levels and site measurements; oversee Junior Engineers/Foremen.
• Support administrative tasks such as timecards, project data sheets and quantity take-offs.

2.) Security Coordinator

Job Advertisement – Security Coordinator

Position: Security Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Security Coordinator. The Security Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of security operations, seconded to a mining company. You will ensure the safety of personnel, the protection of high-value assets (including and not limited to heavy machinery/equipment) and the strict enforcement of site access controls and other security related SoPs.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with experience in remote site security, capable of maintaining high standards of discipline and vigilance without needing hands-on supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Oversee all security deployments, ensuring guards are at their posts, alert and fully equipped and trained
• Serve as the primary on-site commander during security breaches, medical emergencies, or protests, coordinating with the Security Manager and local law enforcement if necessary
• Manage patrols and guard points to prevent illegal activities or unauthorised entries with a high focus on preventing theft
• Ensure all security equipment and vehicles are functional and regularly inspected as per the company policies

Risk & Compliance

• Conduct regular checks to identify weaknesses/gaps in operations or procedures and to identify potential risk areas
• Prepare daily SITREPS (Situation Reports) and detailed incident reports for the Security Manager

Training & Personnel

• Conduct regular Toolbox Talks and on-the-job training
• Enforce a strict code of conduct; manage shift rosters and performance evaluations for the guard force
• Support the Manager in maintaining professional, non-confrontational relationships with local community members and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a dedicated security role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordinator capacity
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, risk management and emergency response procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Proficiency in security systems (CCTV, access control) and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
