With funds from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Co-operation and Development through TERRA TECH Förderprojekte e. V. , Social Enterprise Development – Sierra Leone (SEND- SL) in partnership with the Government of Sierra Leone built a science school to improve the quality of education for girls in Kenema.
This school named the Nyapui Senior Secondary School of Excellence (NSSSE) focuses on science subjects to empower and promote STEM education for girls. It is now operational with trained and qualified teachers in the sciences. The school provides a well-equipped modern facility such as laboratories for ICT, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, an installed solar power to supply electricity and water, a school bus, hostel facilities in a fenced compound providing security for the girls, management and staff of the school.

Applications are open for the position of a principal for the newly established and approved Science Senior Secondary School.
Applicants must be:
- A holder of a degree and post-graduate diploma in education or its equivalent from a recognized university.
- Have at least eight (8) years of post-graduate teaching experience, four (4) of which must have been spent as a senior teacher, head of department or both.
- TEACHERS
Applications are also invited from graduate teachers with at least two years of post-graduate teaching experience in the following subjects:
