JOB PURPOSE: To provide support in asset and stock verification in the sub-offices and the Freetown office.
DURATION: Three (3) months
PROPOSED START DATE:
DEPARTMENT: Logistics unit
SUPERVISION: The Logistics Interns will be supervised directly by the Logistic Officer.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Logistics Interns will work under the direct supervision of the logistic officer, and the intern will be coached by the logistics and OSS focal in Sierra Leone in the execution of their main duties as follows:
- Verify assets and stock in all CARE offices
- Produce a list of all assets, by project, location, custodian, etc.
- Produce a list of all stock held at CARE stores
- Data entry in Excel

Know your systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word and good skills at using financial software applications (PeopleSoft experience will be preferred).
