1.) Principal
Position Summary
The Principal serves as the chief academic and administrative officer, accountable for overall school performance, leadership development, curriculum quality, staff management, and community engagement. The Principal will spearhead efforts to improve teaching and learning methodologies, enforce professional standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve measurable improvements in student outcomes.
Location: Rogbere Village, off Four Mile Junction, accommodation will be provided
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a School Improvement Plan addressing the consultant’s recommendations (e.g., classroom organization, student engagement, teaching methodologies).
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (attendance, academic achievement, discipline).
- Academic Management:
- Oversee curriculum delivery and ensure alignment with teacher qualifications and student needs.
- Promote student-centered, inquiry-based teaching and integration of vetted digital/AI resources.
- Staff Development & Supervision:
- Recruit, mentor, and appraise teaching and non-teaching staff; introduce timesheet/accountability systems.
- Organize regular professional development workshops on pedagogical skills and classroom management.
- Culture & Discipline:
- Establish clear codes of conduct to restore respect and professional boundaries among staff and students.
- Liaise with the community and parents to foster a supportive, inclusive school culture.
- Operational Oversight:
- Ensure timely provision of student services (e.g., lunch schedule).
- Implement monitoring & evaluation processes for teacher performance and student progress.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in school leadership roles, preferably at the junior secondary level.
- Demonstrated track record of improving school performance
- Proven expertise in modern pedagogical methods (student-centered learning, formative assessment).

2.) Vice Principal
Position Summary
The Vice Principal supports the Principal in all aspects of school operations, with a focus on academic supervision, discipline management, and the implementation of instructional best practices. The Vice Principal will act as Principal in their absence and will lead specific improvement initiatives.
Location: Rogbere Village, off Four Mile Junction, accommodation will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Leadership:
- Coordinate faculty assignments to match teacher qualifications with subjects taught.
- Monitor lesson delivery, provide feedback, and facilitate peer-learning groups (e.g., curriculum support clubs).
- Discipline & Student Welfare:
- Enforce student behavior policies; manage incidents of indiscipline and classroom disruptions.
- Oversee student-support services, including punctual meal service and safeguarding against intruders.
- Operational Support:
- Implement and manage the teacher timesheet system, report on staff attendance and punctuality.
- Supervise non-teaching staff to ensure they adhere to professional standards.
- Professional Development:
- Assist in organizing and delivering workshops on classroom management and student engagement.
- Mentor volunteer and part-time teachers to ensure preparedness and subject-matter competence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field.
- At least 5 years’ teaching experience, including supervisory or coordination roles.
- Experience introducing accountability systems and supporting school turnaround efforts.
Core Competencies
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of student-centered teaching strategies and classroom management.
- Effective communicator and team player with high integrity.
