Position: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Sierra Leone

Industry: Cement Manufacturing (Cement Grinding Unit)

Experience Required: 7-15 Years

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: -

Assist in the maintenance and operation of mechanical equipment in the cement grinding

unit.

Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of conveyors, crushers, mills, and rotary

equipment.

Support in conducting preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Assist in analyzing mechanical failures and implementing corrective measures.

Work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure equipment efficiency and

compliance with operational standards.

Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and reports.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations within the plant.

Collaborate with senior engineers to improve mechanical processes and efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:-

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience in cement manufacturing, particularly in grinding units, is preferred.

Knowledge of rotary kilns, ball mills, conveyors, compressors, and hydraulic systems.

Basic understanding of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.

Familiarity with industry safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software.
