Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with technical teams and contractors to ensure proper installation of solar energy systems to power tablet storage and usage areas.
- Support the establishment of learning spaces for tablet-based sessions, including the arrangement of furniture, electrical outlets, charging stations, and adequate lighting and ventilation.
- Visit project sites to verify progress, identify potential delays or issues, and report findings to the Project Manager/District Manager.
- Facilitate communication between school leadership, local contractors, and the program team to ensure smooth implementation of infrastructure-related activities.
- Visit each assigned school 3-4 times a week to closely monitor the implementation, collect monitoring data, safeguarding of children involved in the program and provide support as needed.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions for teachers to ensure their confidence in facilitating the tablet session and also ensuring smooth asset management and delivering the curriculum effectively.
- Collect comprehensive daily data on key performance indicators, including learner attendance, session engagement levels, tablet functionality, and teaching quality. Monitor and document technical issues, behavioral observations, and feedback from learners or facilitators to identify patterns and support continuous improvement.
- Supportive team member, willing to contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Support monitoring and evaluation processes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and donor guidelines.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in IT
- At least 2 years of experience in community-based work or similar roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in data collection, reporting, and basic M&E tools.
- Fluency in speaking English
- Knowledge of the local context and culture is highly desirable.
- Ability to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid license.
