1.) Marketing and Communications Officer
Role: Marketing & Communications Officer
Reports to: Marketing & Communications Lead

Purpose of the Role
The Marketing & Communications (MARCOMS) Officer has responsibilities that include supporting the implementation of the marketing and communication strategy for LBD Group. The Marcomms Officer will work in close collaboration with the Marketing & Client Relationship Manager in implementing planned marketing activities, engaging our online audiences, and representing the Group in professional events & functions in a marketing capacity.
S/he is also expected to perform tasks in support of the development of Client Sales Plans & publication of periodic Newsletters.
Areas of Responsibility
- Work with our Graphic Designers & other stakeholders to ensure that draft marketing & communication materials are produced
- Publish Marketing & Communication contents on traditional & social media platforms
- Keep customers engaged by responding to their queries and questions submitted online.
- Represent our brands, Life By Design, Grow Salone, iDT Labs, & Inkeemedia at industry events.
- Manage the LBD Group client database ensuring that contact persons, telephone numbers, and emails are kept updated.
- Support the development of client specific sales plans and Newsletter, by compiling internal data on client and conducting any necessary research assigned.
Key Competencies
The role is meant for a result-driven professional, who is willing to learn and take feedback. You are expected to be a very good communicator and with the ability to plan, work under pressure, and follow through on creative execution working closely with team members.
Some of the key competences include:
- Ability to communicate very well and work with little supervision
- Willingness to learn and work closely with a team
- Very good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a marketing and/or communications & public relations role.
The Marketing & Communication Officer will be evaluated based on the achievement of measurables targets and also individual KPIs accompanying this JD

Purpose of the Role
The Marketing and Client Relations Manager will be working closely with the Marketing & Client Relations Director to develop & implement the Group’s communication & marketing strategies and in managing client Relationss.
S/He is expected to take the lead in executing planned marketing strategies, ensuring that the necessary marketing materials are developed and activities are implemented as planned.
S/he is expected to maintain a strong understanding of our product & services, and be able to research our client needs and brainstorm ideas to identify sales opportunities with existing clients.
The Marketing & Client Relations Manager will also provide support in the development of EOIs and writing proposals responding to opportunities identified by the Sales Team, ensuring they are submitted with the required documentations.
Areas of Responsibility
- Manage the execution of planned marketing campaigns, ensuring activities are implemented on time and as planned.
- Manage the development of all marketing materials, this includes drafting scripts & templates for brochures, product decks, and contents for publication on radio, TV, social media, etc.
- Supervise the tracking and data collection on the performance & impacts of marketing campaigns.
- Support the development of client sales plans on key clients through client research
- Support the development of Newsletters through the researching of marketing trends and other necessary topics to be featured in the Newsletter.
- Work closely with Business Units to develop EOI,s and write proposals addressing client needs, and ensure it timely & full submission.

- Leadership & Decision-making skills: to make important decisions regarding teams, resources, tasks and deadlines.
- Time management skills: to have excellent time management skills. This includes being able to set up tasks, follow timelines and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong Relationss with colleagues – ability to work with others to efficiently deliver results and achieve shared goals & objectives.
Qualification & Experience
- BSc in Mass Communication, Marketing, English or related field
- Minimum 3 years of Marketing and Client Relations Manager experience or in a similar role.
