1. Finance and Procurement Intern

What You'll Do (Simplified)

As a Finance and Procurement Intern, you will support the department with daily financial and purchasing activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with recording financial transactions accurately.
  • Helping prepare payment documents, invoices, and receipts.
  • Supporting bank reconciliations and financial record management.
  • Monitoring budgets and tracking departmental expenses.
  • Assisting in preparing monthly financial reports.
  • Organizing finance and procurement documents.
  • Supporting internal audits when required.
  • Helping prepare purchase requests and purchase orders.
  • Assisting with supplier sourcing and quotation comparisons.
  • Updating supplier records and procurement databases.
  • Monitoring deliveries of purchased goods and services.
  • Supporting inventory and stock management.
  • Ensuring procurement activities follow organizational policies.
  • Assisting with supplier communication and contract documentation.

This internship provides practical exposure to both finance and procurement operations within an international development organization.
