1.) Commercial Manager M/F
About the job
SALS, part of Africa Global Logistics (AGL), is seeking a Commercial Manager to monitor and implement the overall commercial policy for AGL's entities in Sierra Leone. This is an ideal role for a proactive, results-oriented Sierra Leonean professional with a solid commercial background, including experience in transport, logistics, supply chain, and project management. The Commercial Manager will drive business development, manage customer relationships, and oversee the execution of commercial strategies.

*Commercial Policy Management: Monitor and enforce the overall commercial policy for AGL Entities in Sierra Leone.
*Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, project partners, and government entities to ensure alignment and compliance with commercial policies.
*Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities in industrial, logistics, and related sectors.
*Customer Relations: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
*Bid & Tender Management: Lead and manage the preparation and submission of competitive bids and tenders, ensuring profitability and strategic alignment.
*Reporting: Regularly report on commercial performance, market trends, and project updates to senior management.
*At least 5 years of experience in a commercial management role, preferably in transport, logistics and supply chain.
*Demonstrates experience in managing commercial aspects of projects, including bid preparation, contract management, and client engagement.
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and work across multiple entities.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
*Solid analytical skills for identifying market opportunities and trends to drive business growth.
*Proficient in CRM tools and business software (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
*Ability to negotiate favourable terms and manage contracts to ensure profitability.*Demonstrates experience in managing commercial aspects of projects, including bid preparation, contract management, and client engagement.
2.) Maintenance Method Engineer
About the job
A leading Port Operator with 100% right to operate a container terminal. The government of Sierra Leone is a 20% equity owner. Has installed state-of-the-art equipment for effective and efficient operations.
- Implement an efficient preventive and predictive maintenance policy
- Support the maintenance team in adopting problem-solving tools
- Master maintenance management tools and maintenance software,documentation, and diagnostics for maintenance activities
- Perform electrical, preventive, and curative maintenance of equipment.
- Detect possible anomalies to avoid immobilization of equipment due to a breakdown.
- Conscientiously perform preventive and curative maintenance according to established ranges and procedures
- Actively participate in the start-up of equipment
- Control the equipment, have a global vision.
- Fill out maintenance checklists conscientiously.
- Report on his hierarchy of failures that have occurred and constantly inform him of the difficulties encountered in the performance of his duties.

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineer.
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, or mechanical/electrical Engineering
- Analytical skills (problem-solving tools)
- Leadership to work across departments
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license
