1. Advisor – IYBA

What You'll Do (Simplified)

As the Advisor for the IYBA Business West Africa Programme, you will help strengthen small and medium-sized businesses in Sierra Leone, particularly those involved in environmentally sustainable and circular economy initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Planning and implementing activities that support the growth of MSMEs.
• Organising business training, coaching, mentoring, and entrepreneurship programmes.
• Helping entrepreneurs improve business planning, financial management, and operational performance.
• Supporting businesses to adopt environmentally friendly production methods and sustainable business models.
• Working with banks and financial institutions to improve access to finance for small businesses.
• Organising workshops, networking events, and investment forums that connect entrepreneurs with investors and business partners.
• Building partnerships with public institutions, development organisations, and private sector stakeholders.
• Documenting project achievements, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Providing technical support and performing additional project-related responsibilities when required.
