1.) Regional Coordinator

ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Regional Coordinator - Sierra Leone. The incumbent will be responsible to coordinate the district-level implementation of the Epidemic-Ready Primary Health Care (ERPHC) Project activities in Bombali and Port Loko districts. Reporting to the Senior Project Coordinator, the Regional Coordinator will provide direct supervision and mentorship to district-based Project Mentors. In close consultation with the Senior Project Coordinator, the Regional Coordinator will work closely with the Port Loko and Bombali District Health Management Teams and other key stakeholders to plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor district-level ERPHC project activities. The Regional Coordinator will also provide remote and in-person training and supportive supervision to healthcare workers at ERPHC project-supported health facilities and foster the exchange of information and best practices within and between targeted health facilities

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Regional Coordinator position by October 2024.The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in medicine, public health, Health Management, Epidemiology, or a related field. At least four years of experience managing health programs, with a focus on epidemic preparedness, primary healthcare, or infectious disease response. Strong understanding of IDSR, IPC, and public health principles. Proven ability to manage multi-faceted projects, develop work plans, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills in a multi-disciplinary environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and write clear, data-driven reports. Experience working with district health management teams, and community organisations. Familiarity with M&E systems, data collection, and data analysis for program improvement. Fluency in English is required Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required

Reporting to the Team Lead, the Senior Project Coordinator will provide direct supervision and mentorship of project staff, including the District and Regional coordinator. In close consultation with the Team Lead, the Senior Project Coordinator will work closely with the government officials and other key stakeholders to plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor ERPHC project activities, provide remote and in-person training and supportive supervision to project staff, and foster the exchange of information and best practices within and between target districts.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Senior Project Coordinator position by October 2024.The successful candidate will hold master's degree in medicine, public health, Health Management, Epidemiology, or a related field at least 5 years of experience managing health programs, with a focus on epidemic preparedness, primary healthcare, or infectious disease response. Strong understanding of IDSR, IPC, and public health principles. Proven ability to manage multi-faceted projects, develop work plans, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills in a multi-disciplinary environment.
