2.) Fiber Optic Splicer

1.) Fiber Optic Field Supervisor
Job Purpose:
Telecom implementation Supervisor will supervise the Daily support and service delivery of certain Telecom services, especially focused on operational support of all telecom equipment, ensuring that sustainment activities are being delivered appropriately as stated in below:
Responsibilities (Functions and duties):
- Supervise in a daily basis all the teams in the field, follow them and verify their work
- Instruct the teams in the field of the work to be done
- Schedule all the tasks and distribute them to the teams
- Verify the safety and security of the site to make sure all the rules and standards are being followed
- Insure the progress of the works according the initial planning.
- Report in a daily basis all the progress of the network construction
- Manage directly the in-house teams and the subcontractors.
Specialist knowledge required:
- Preferably holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering.
- Must be able to supervise and work under pressure.
- With at least three (3) years related experience in the field fixed network implementation, especially in Fiber Optic.
- Must be creative and find solution for the problems, even if not standard solutions
- Ensure telecom installation are based on the Clients approved plans and specifications.

2.) Fiber Optic Splicer
Job Purpose:
Integrate a team of Fiber Optic Network construction. The target is to connect and terminate all the fiber optic cables with fusion splice. In different equipment’s of the network the connection to the fiber optical cable need to be done according the standards of the client.
Responsibilities (Functions and duties):
- Ability to fusion or mechanical splice SM or MM fiber optic cables, to include terminate various types of fiber optic connectors (ST,SC, LC)
- Work with engineers and/or OSP PM’s to perform fusion splicing as directed.
- Installation and testing of pressurized and non-pressurized closures on all types and sizes of cable.
- Experience and knowledge using Fiber Optic Scope and or a Fiber OTDR.
- Installation and dressing of fiber optic cables (vertical/horizontal).
- Provide management with detailed reports of field splicing activity.
- Maintain fiber asset inventory and splicing records.
- Organize the fiber in the passive elements in clean and simple way
- Maintain and clean all the tools after usage
Specialist knowledge required:
- Valid driver license with clean driving record
- 2 years or more of fiber splicing experience in active plant
- Must be able to work independently without supervision.
- Ability to read prints, read and comprehend splice instructions
- Complete production paperwork with correct splice case information
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and basic computer skills to look up maps
