1.) Office Assistant
Position Title: Office Assistant (1)

CISMAT, in partnership with Solthis and the National Leprosy and Tuberculosis Control Program (NLTCP) will implement an Expertise France funded project in Bo called βFree TB projectβ with objective to Improve TB diagnosis, access to treatment and prevention in children under 5 years old in Bo district through the implementation of an operational decentralized strategy sensitive to gender-related determinants of health. CISMAT will require an office assistant to serve on this free TB

CISMAT-SL operates across all sixteen (16) districts of Sierra Leone through community-based civil society organizations dedicated to promoting and protecting the health rights of Sierra Leoneans. ABOUT FREE TB PROJECT
SOLTHIS, NLTCP, and CISMAT will implement a TB screening project in Bo District, Sierra Leone, targeting presumptive TB cases under five. The initiative aims to identify presumptive TB cases, refer them for diagnosis, and provide TB preventive treatment (TPT) to those in contact with TB patients. The project will strengthen TB diagnosis, treatment, and prevention through a decentralized approach, engaging healthcare providers at all levels, including district hospitals and health facilities. Community Health Workers (CHWs) will support outreach and referrals. Over three years (2025-2027), the project aims to screen 24,500 children, diagnose and treat 1,500 cases, and provide TPT to 1,800 children.
Job Summary
The Office Assistant provides administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling meetings, maintaining office supplies, and keeping the workplace organized and professional. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
Manage and respond to emails, calls, and other correspondence.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
Maintain an organized filing system for documents and records.
Office Management:
Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
Ensure the office remains clean, organized, and fully functional.
Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs.
Data Entry and Record Keeping:
Accurately input and update data into systems.
Maintain logs and prepare reports as requested.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate degree in business or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as an office assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

The District Coordinator oversees and coordinates district-level activities to ensure effective implementation of organizational goals. Responsibilities include planning, resource management, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute district plans in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Serve as the liaison between the district and headquarters, ensuring smooth communication.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, recommending improvements.
- Manage resources, ensuring efficient allocation and policy compliance.
- Lead and mentor district teams while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Engage with stakeholders, including community groups, partners, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and submit regular reports.
- Identify training needs and facilitate staff development.
- Oversee project execution, manage budgets, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Promote innovation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Community Development, or a related field (Masterβs preferred).
- 3β5 years of experience managing health projects at the district level.
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in data monitoring, reporting, and health systems understanding.
- Fluency in English and relevant local languages; computer proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel within the district.

Job Summary:
The Field Officer will manage field operations, including data collection, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring adherence to policies. They will work closely with the MEAL Manager to implement program objectives and maintain relationships with beneficiaries, clients, and stakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Field Operations: Conduct field visits, gather data, and provide services.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Collect, record, and report data and findings.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Adhere to policies, safety protocols, and data protection.
- Collaboration: Work with teams to align field activities with program goals.
- Problem-Solving: Address field challenges and escalate issues as needed.
- Training: Engage in skill-building and stay updated on best practices.
- Confidentiality: Safeguard sensitive information.
Core Competencies:
Strong communication, data collection, teamwork, problem-solving, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma in Public Health, Nursing, or related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in community health, TB case management, or similar.
- Skills: Knowledge of TB, data management, and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Other Requirements: Proficiency in local languages (e.g., Mende), basic computer skills, and willingness to travel.
Certifications (preferred):
- TB case management or community health certifications, First Aid.

4.) Finance Officer
Position Title: Finance Officer (1)
Contract duration: 1 year with possible extension
Location: Bo District
Employment Type: Full-time
To support implementing a systematic TB screening project in Bo District, targeting sick children under five for TB diagnosis, treatment, and care, and identifying and referring those in contact with TB patients for TB preventive treatment (TPT). CISMAT will require field-based staff and ninety (90) community mobilizers for house-to-house TB screening and referral pathways.

Job Summary
The Finance Officer manages financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, donor requirements, and organizational policies. Reporting to the Finance Manager, they oversee financial planning, management, reporting, and compliance for the Free TB Project in BO, working closely with CISMAT HQ in Freetown.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Flow monitoring
- Prepares quarterly cash flow requests (draws up cash flow forecasts in collaboration with the project teams) and requests for payments expected from partners and submits them to the CISMAT Director for approval.
- Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies
- Oversee daily financial activities, including cash management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Audit
- Follows up on the recommendations of external financial audits carried out in the field and/or at the Partner level, within its areas of expertise.
Budget follow-up
- Ensures that budget monitoring/Follow-up is kept up to date, coordinates monthly budget follow-up meetings with partners, and provides the project Coordinator with an analysis
- Responsible for budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost optimization.
- Ensures that the budget monitoring sheet, i.e., advance follow-up and expenses sheet, is kept up to date
Prepare financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with donor and organizational policies.
Compliance
- Systematically archive all financial documents for compliance.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and controls.
- Ensure adherence to updated financial procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or CMA) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in donor-funded health projects.
- Strong budgeting, reporting, and compliance skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and MS Excel.
- Experience with NGOs, public health organizations, or donor-funded programs is an advantage.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain financial integrity.
