ASSISTANT SECURITY MANAGER JD
The Assistant Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of security personnel of all levels by developing and implementing security policies, managing security teams, and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities
Personnel Management: Manage security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff to ensure effective security coverage.
Policy Implementation: Develop security policies and procedures and recommend improvements to enhance overall security.
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Coordination with Authorities: Coordinate with law enforcement ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Emergency Response: Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to maintain readiness.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.

Job Title: NOC Technician - Level 1 Support Location: Michcom Network Operations Center Reports to: NOC Supervisor / Network Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Level 1 NOC Technician is responsible for maintaining continuous visibility and operational stability of Michcom's nationwide fiber and wireless infrastructure. This role involves proactive network monitoring, rapid incident response, and first-line customer support to ensure optimal uptime and service quality. The technician uses monitoring platforms such as UNMS, Zabbix, and SmokePing to detect and troubleshoot faults, coordinate with field engineers and colocation partners, and manage power-related issues at remote sites. The position demands precision, accountability, and real-time communication within a 24/7 operational environment to maintain Michcom's service reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Michcom's network links, base stations, and customer connections using UNMS, Zabbix, SmokePing, and related NMS platforms.
- Respond to network alarms, service degradation, or outages immediately and initiate first-level troubleshooting.
- Handle customer calls and support tickets, providing accurate information and timely updates.
- Escalate unresolved or critical issues to Level 2 NOC or field operations following escalation procedures.
- Coordinate with colocation partners, power teams, and third-party NOCs for maintenance and site access.
- Monitor and document site power systems (AC/DC, solar, UPS, generator) and escalate anomalies promptly.
- Maintain detailed and accurate event, fault, and shift logs; prepare shift handover and daily summary reports.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and provide real-time status updates to the operations team.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or IT-related discipline.
- Basic understanding of IP networking, routing, wireless, and power systems.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as UNMS, Zabbix, or similar NOC platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills.

Job Summary:
The NOC Supervisor is responsible for leading Michcom’s 24/7 Network Operations Center, ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and performance of the company’s fiber, wireless, and 5G infrastructure. The role involves managing Level 1 and Level 2 NOC teams, overseeing incident management, coordinating field and partner escalations, and maintaining service continuity through proactive monitoring and operational control. The NOC Supervisor ensures all incidents, outages, and maintenance activities are handled efficiently, following Michcom’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service level objectives (SLOs). Strong leadership, situational awareness, and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the NOC, ensuring 24/7 service continuity and rapid incident response.
• Oversee network monitoring using UNMS, Zabbix, SmokePing, and other diagnostic platforms.
• Manage NOC staff schedules, shift rotations, and performance; ensure proper handovers between shifts.
• Review and validate incidents, ensuring proper root-cause identification and timely resolution or escalation.
• Coordinate with colocation partners, ISPs, power teams, and field engineers for site access and fault handling.
• Track and report network availability, power system performance, and incident trends to management.
• Conduct incident post-mortems and produce reports for major outages and SLA-impacting events.
• Maintain and improve NOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), escalation paths, and response playbooks.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to NOC technicians and ensure continuous team skill improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate daily NOC summaries, performance dashboards, and escalation reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or IT Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in NOC operations, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, transmission systems, and power infrastructure (AC/DC, solar, UPS, generators).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring platforms like UNMS, Zabbix, SmokePing, or equivalent.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple incidents concurrently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasionally cover shifts during critical operations.
