Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and reliable Assistant Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in all financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly financial and management reports to support accurate decision making.
  • Assist with bank reconciliation, cash reconciliations, and review of balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with Month End and Year-end closing activities, including preparations of schedules and reconciliations.
  • Assist with Audit preparation by compiling documents, schedules, and explanation for internal and external auditors.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with hotel financial procedures, internal controls and statutory requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining proper filing, documentation, and confidentiality of financial records.
  • Perform other finance related duties strictly as assigned by the finance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting (hospitality experience is an advantage).
  • Professionalism Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA)-Part-qualified or qualified an advantage.
  • Experience working with accounting systems (e.g. Sage, IDS, QuickBooks or Similar).
  • Strong Knowledge of Financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls.
  • Working Knowledge of Invoice processing, reconciliations, and Financial Reporting.
