ECONOMICS, FRENCH & ACCOUNTING

Are you passionate about teaching and shaping the next generation of girls in Sierra Leone? Olive B Academy — a STEM-focused all-girls boarding school offering the internationally recognized Cambridge curriculum — is expanding its founding faculty team! We are seeking qualified, experienced and passionate educators (male or female) to teach the following subjects:

• Science (Chemistry & Physics)
• English Language
• Economics
• Accounting
• French

Note: While the position is open to both male and female applicants, female educators in these fields are strongly encouraged to apply, as part of our commitment to promoting women in STEM and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Schemes of Work and Lesson Notes aligned with OBA’s curriculum.
• Deliver engaging, practical, and value-driven lessons.
• Monitor and assess student learning and performance consistently.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Support extracurricular clubs in your area of interest (e.g. STEM, arts, public speaking).
• Participate in school programs, events, and continuous staff development.
• Uphold academic and ethical standards outlined in the school’s code of conduct.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by school management as needed.

Who We’re Looking For

• A qualified educator with a degree in the relevant subject area (First-class or Second-class upper preferred)

• Experience preparing students for Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE O and A Levels is an added advantage.

• Passionate about girl-child education and committed to excellence. • Creative, resourceful, and values-driven.

• Willingness to live on campus and contribute to the boarding school community.
